First Day Cover from the Marshall Islands from December 20, 1991 commemorating the first combat by the Flying Tigers on December
20, 1941. This cover is autographed by 5 Flying Tigers including Ed Rector, "Tex" Hill, Dick Rossi, Erik Shilling and Charles "Chuck"
Older. Rector, Hill, Rossi and Older are all WWII aces. Shilling was a tremendous pilot with a very interesting aviation background.
Charles Older is doubly famous as he not only was a Flying Tiger and a WWII ace, he was also the sitting judge for the Charles Manson
trial! Remember the movie? Manson lunges at the judge sitting on the bench, look at the name tag, it was Charles Older. As always, I
obtained all of these autographs in person over a period of about a year. Each of these men were incredibly nice and humble gentlemen
and it was a pleasure to make their acquaintance. Beautiful art work along with 5 very desirable autographs, all in one place! A terrific
piece. $120.00

Signed and Numbered, limited edition print by artist Lonnie Ortega of Luftwaffe Ace and
Knights Cross Winner Wolfgang Spate. The print is already framed and is signed by both the
artist and Wolfgang Spate. Spate was the officer in charge of the test unit at Peenemunde during
the development of the ME-163 Komet, the aircraft depicted in the print along with a B-17.
Spate later commanded the operational squadron which flew the Komet in
combat. $100.00
5x7 inch photograph of Wolgang Spate sitting in the cockpit of an ME-163 Komet. Postwar

including at least 5 four engine bombers. He was in command of the unit flight testing the
ME-163 at Peenemunde and later commanded JG300 which flew the Komet in combat against
the allies. He wrote a great book about the Komet, "Top Secret Bird". Great photo signed
many years ago. $55.00
